Armchair Philosophy Podcast Update #2

Hello there,

So you just finished listening to our fourth episode of the podcast. Oh you haven't? Well then, follow this link right here and you'll be on your way. In the meantime for those of you still here, this is what we've been up to as of late.

The "Ethics" episode has taught us a couple of things. First, people love to just press play and listen rather than wait for a YouTube episode to load. Our bad on that one. Second, a bigger heads up for subsequent episodes is necessary to get everyone up to speed. Again, might have dropped the ball there. So, in order to improve from our mistakes, here goes nothing. Thirdly, we have decided to cease use of Podbean.com as our hosting-provider. We now run off of podcasts.com, where you can find us at the Podcasts.com Armchair Philosophy Page. We will be replacing old facets of the website in the days to come. Keep an eye out for those announcements.

Our next episode, airing as always this Monday, April 29th at 5pm PST is going to talk about AESTHETICS.

That's right, the same people who brought you this...

as well as this...

are going to be trying to figure out what is beautiful.

Why we have gotten that in our heads is beyond me, but we're going to try anyhow. In the lead-up to the episode, we wanted to get your opinions on what you find beautiful. Follow this link to a Facebook Poll on our Facebook page and let us know what you think is beautiful. We will try to get those ideas into the podcast when we record.

A special note however, this fifth podcast will mark the last time we have a podcast that is solely based on one topic. The sixth episode on will have the conversations be based on individual input from the hosts about all sorts of philosophical topics. We hope to keep you along for the ride as we begin to phase in more approachable elements to the podcast format.

Keep checking back in for more updates!
