Podcast Update #1 :

Hello all,

This Podcast Update is meant to let you get up to speed with all our important developments midweek. Well, I say "important developments", what I actually mean is boring housekeeping of this site and the project. Anyway, here goes nothing!

A Big Thank You: First off, we wanted to thank all our listeners from the first episode either here on the site or on YouTube or on our hosting partner Podbean that gave our podcast a shot. The response was overwhelming to say the least, an amazing start for the podcast and for this project of sharing interesting conversations with you all. If you feel so inclined to help this podcast grow some more, below are important internet references for you to share with your friends and family.

Also remember that we do value your opinions and philosophical remarks, so comments will definitely not be ignored! Comment away!

Live Shows: We have had to hold off on the live-shows for a while. We have the ability to do it, we simply don't think our listeners would care one way or another to have them done. Also, because the podcast is still in its infancy, getting everyone together for a fixed recording time which would go out live is just not in the cards at the moment.

Armchair Philosophy Podcast Ep. 002 "Knowledge": The next podcast episode will have to do with the concept of "Knowledge". That's right, people who led off with aliens as their main topic will tackle arguably one of the biggest problems philosophy has to offer. You might be thinking "well, that's reason enough to not listen. I'm going to go on Reddit now and just forget about this whole thing". We surely hope you don't, for one main reason; it's going to be a great episode. Think about it, either we actually tackle the problem of knowledge the way we're supposed to and we ride off into the sunset as glorious winners having surprised everyone...or we make a complete hash of it and you have something to laugh at for the next 30-35 minutes. Either way, you're entertained. So we invite you to come by this site on April 8th at 5PM PST to listen in on the second episode of the Armchair Philosophy Podcast.

Again, thank you for making the launch of the podcast go really well, and thank you as always for listening to the podcast. We hope to grow as this project evolves into the best philosophy podcast available, and we cannot do it without your support! You guys rock!

-Alessandro
